Michał Wojnowski, doktorat z historii wojskowości Bizancjum, autor kilkunastu specjalistycznych opracowań opublikowanych na łamach „Przeglądu Bezpieczeństwa Wewnętrznego” przedrukowanych w periodykach służb specjalnych w Rumunii i na Ukrainie, były pracownik IPN, obecnie ekspert współpracujący z Rządowym Centrum Bezpieczeństwa. Zainteresowania badawcze: historia Bizancjum, resorty siłowe Federacji Rosyjskiej i Republiki Białoruś ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem organów bezpieczeństwa państwa, nauka wojskowa ZSRS/FR, walka informacyjna.
